TA-4J Skyhawk

During 1969-1970, the Navy VA-43 Training Squadron was based at Holloman Air Force Base at Alamogordo, New Mexico. Why it was based at an Air Force Base is unknown to us. The paint scheme we used for renovating the TA-4J is based on colors used on TA-4J 153671 assigned to VA-43.

This aircraft is on loan from the Naval Aviation Museum.
